The volunteers who make up our board bring a vast amount of knowledge in business, mental health, physical health, and living a life of sobriety from substance abuse. It is comprised of doctors, executives, and individuals in recovery who all share Giving NuHope's mission of helping those in need.
Dr. Jolene Nichols brings over 25-years of experience in the substance use industry to Giving Hope. She is the owner and CEO of Nuhope Services LLC a substances use disorder outpatient treatment facility in Overland Park Kansas.
Dr. Jolene was the Vice President/COO of Valley Hope Association, the CEO of Valley Hope Solutions, Served as the Secretary of the Valley Hope Foundation, and has spoke at numerous national speaking engagements on substances use, ethics, and online therapy.
Dr. Jolene worked as a clinical consultant for numerous treatment centers across the US. She has a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate degree in Psychology with a specialized focus in substance use/addiction.
Dr. Kasey ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. He is the owner and CEO of Onyx Integrated Medicine in Gilbert, Arizona. His expertise is in treating addiction from a whole-person standpoint. This means he addresses other mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, as well as physical concerns like chronic pain in additi

Dr. Kasey is currently serving as the President of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical board. Dr. Kasey has worked in executive roles as the Director of Medical Operations and Administration for one of the leading treatment organizations in the US. He is experienced in providing primary care treatment and has specialized expertise in pain management and addiction. Dr. Kasey has completed numerous rotations in general medicine and substance use disorder at treatment centers across Arizona.
During the past several years Dr. Kasey has given numerous interviews for newspapers in the state of Kansas specific to substance use and the opiate epidemic and was nominated for various awards including the Kansas Hospital Association Leadership award. Dr. Kasey writes for many entities across the US on health, nutrition, and addiction.

He was involved in the development of many global and local initiatives providing project definition and implementation before completing his career as the US/Canada Manager of Pricing and Incentives.
Dan is an accountant by trade and brings 12 years of recovery to Giving Nuhope. Dan is also a certified peer socialist with the state of Kansas.
